Family members of dual and foreign nationals who have been detained in Iran have gathered in September 2018 at the UN to share experiences and advocate for the release of their loved ones. The families gathered for the first time to share stories and struggles about getting their loved ones released. They met again a few weeks ago, this time to share their testimonies with the UN Special Rapporteur on the human rights situation in Iran. The similarities between their loved ones’ cases is strikingly similar.
