  • WASHINGTON,DC: DC City Council Renames Street Outside of Russian Embassy In Memory Of Slain Prime Minister – Boris Nemtsov. Boris Nemtsov was a democracy activist who was assassinated outside of the Kremlin in 2015. The City Council voted unanimously to change the name of the street outside of the Russian embassy in Washington, DC to honor him.

  • NYU/ABU DHABI: NYU ‘s Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute Voted to Suspend Relationship with School’s Abu Dhabi Campus. The faculty of NYU’s Arthur L.   • USA: Speeches by two EPA scientists and one contractor, at the State of the Narragansett Bay and Watershed Program, were cancelled this week two days prior to the conference by administrators at the EPA.  One of the scientists was scheduled to present the Keynote Talk.  Much of the conference centered on climate change.
